Diapering Fabrics
There are so many beautiful fabrics available… how do you choose
just one?
Here are the descriptions of all of our fabric comibinations.
If you prefer to see how the fabrics look and feel in person, we canl
send you fabric samples by snail mail. If you are REALLY indecisive,
drop us a line and we'll advise to the best of our abilities!
~organic cotton fleece (100% organic cotton):
This is like sweatshirt fleece. Fuzzy on one side and smooth knit
on the other. (The smooth side faces out) A really soft and durable
fabric.
~organic cotton velour (100% organic cotton):
This is beautifully soft, dreamy fabric. It's very stretchy and
accordingly fits a wider range of size in each diaper. It's so deluxe
that we make the inner layer out of the same fabric as the outer.
~ organic cotton knit terry: (100% organic cotton):
This is like baby bath toweling. Squishy, soft and absorbant.
~All diapers (with the exception of the 'speeddry' version) have an
internal soaker made out of 3 layers of organic cotton.
~All diapers are bound in organic cotton jersey. This fabric is 94%
organic cotton and 6% lycra. We find that the lycra really helps the
binding hold up to the wear and tear of diaper washing.
