A note first: Currently we're not offering any wool products. Maybe
in the nearish future.
I am in love with wool.
Is there anything better than a wool sweater? Well, maybe only a
wool diaper cover (if you're a baby!).
Wool is such a miraculously hard working, hard wearing fibre.
So.. you might ask "WHAT'S SO GREAT ABOUT WOOL?"
Well! Where do we start?
If it's good enough for a sheep it's good enough for me! Here's
why is is so great for diaper covers!
· It is a natural insulator which means that it keeps that
behind warm in the winter and cool in the summer
which leads
up to the next one:
· It breeeeeathes! This helps keep the dreaded diaper rash
at bay.
· It is absorbant and repellant at the same time! What does
this mean? Well, it won't leak!
· It doesn't smell! Just hang it to dry in between uses,
you'll be amazed!
· It's a renewable resource!

here! (link)
After trying out different wools over the years, we've fallen in
love with the 100% organic 'O-wool interlock' produced by Jasco
mills (also available at Vermont
Organics).
It's beautifully soft and stretchy. Jus-t gorgeous stuff!
The wooly bully is a simple side snapping cover with 5 sets of
snaps for lots of adjustments. The soft binding conceals gentle
elastic at the waist and leg openings for a good seal!. Two layers
of fabric create enough of a barrier that the cover can be used
for daytime or nighttime use. (For the particularly heavy wetter,
we do offer a 2 layer wool doubler that can be used to boost the
cover)
Wooly bullies are available either in natural, undyed wool or in
handdyed wool. We kettle dye all of our wool ourselves with low
impact, Procion dyes. We offer both dipdyed combinations and solid
colours with either rmatching or contrasting binding and snaps.
Available colour combinations are as follows:
· blue/purple
· turquoise/purple
· turquoise/blue
· grass green/dark green
· yellow/orange
· orange/pink
· pink/purple
Solids can be dyed to order!
